Before you Meet
If someone is not willing to send you a current picture, beware. Really everyone out there has camera phones these days, even my own 80-something parents. If someone isn't willing to take a selfie, there is probably a reason.
Only text or chats during the day, and never in the evening or on the weekend.
My experience has been, if I suspect that the guy is married or involved, he probably is...always trust your instinct.
When you Meet
Pick a public place, with lots of people.
Always let SOMEONE know where you are and who you are meeting.
